Icebreaker: Do you like ‘old and familiar’ or do you tend to prefer ‘new - even before you are sure if it’s better’?

Worship: Worship the Lord in song

Scripture: Isaiah 43:18-19

Topic: NEW MIRACLES, NEW OPPORTUNITIES, NEW WAYS

DISCUSSION:
1. What one thing are you most thankful to God for from the last 2 years of disruption?
2. In this New Year, are you looking to God to restore the past or do you have an expectation for something new and even better in 2022?
3. What does God mean when He says "BEHOLD, l’m doing a new thing"?
4. Philippians 3:13-14. Are you open to God accomplishing HIS purposes in your life this year - even if it means change (of job, location, home, circumstance etc) or are you afraid of the new?
PRAYER;
A) Proverbs 19:21 May God give us both courage and zeal to see and recognize the times in which we are living, and to embrace the NEW that he is going to unfold before our very eyes in 2022 if we are willing to ‘go for him’. (Isaiah 6:8).
B) Pray with expectation for NEW miracles - not like yesterday’s, NEW opportunities even better than yesterday’s and to recognize when God works in a NEW way not the same as yesterday.
