Topic: THE LAST WORDS OF JESUS: IT IS FINISHED!
1. What was Jesus’ mission? Share what Jesus meant when He said “it is finished”.
(Prepare some bread and juice for this session)
1 Corinthians 11:23-24 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: that the Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, took bread, 24and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”

1 Corinthians 11:25 In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”
Share the juice
1. Spend some time and prayerfully reflect on Jesus’ last words on the cross; His forgiveness, the promise to be with Him forever in paradise, the fact that He was forsaken so that we are accepted and His finished work on the cross.
2. Share your needs and care for one another in prayer.
